Cinnamon Squares

Lovely moist and tangy cinnamon squares. Easy to make and easier to eat.


Preheat oven to 180C and grease a square cake tin.


Cream together butter and sugar.


Add eggs to butter mixture one by one. Scrape down the sides of the bowl between each egg addition.


Combine dry ingredients, and stir into butter mixture with a wooden spoon.


Combine wet ingredients and then add to the rest of the mixture. Spoon into the prepared tin, and bake for 45 minutes.


Cool on a wire rack, slice into 16 squares, and serve.
